One famous face in the I'm A Celebrity jungle appeared upset following a significant announcement in the latest episode.
Journalist Jane Moore was left displeased as the most recent public vote was disclosed. Hosts Ant and Dec announced that after voting for Coleen Rooney and Dean McCullough to undertake the next Bushtucker trial, the audience were asked to cast a second vote.
This was to choose the next camp leaders, replacing Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and N-Dubz singer Tulisa. They were the first leaders to enter the camp after winning the race in the first episode.
The two campmates with the highest votes would not only get upgraded sleeping quarters but would also assign tasks to their fellow celebrities.
McFly's Danny Jones and ex-boxer Barry McGuigan were chosen by viewers to take their spots in the luxury lodge. However, some of their decisions soon sparked friction amongst the camp, reports OK!.
Their choices for what roles each celebrity would take on were as follows: washing up - Jane and Tulisa, water duty - Melvin and Dean, camp maintenance - Coleen and Maura, cooking - Oti and Richard and wood collection - GK and Alan.
While audiences might have anticipated Tulisa to express her dissatisfaction the most about not being able to serve as head chef, it was actually Jane who was less than thrilled. Despite being assigned washing up, she told Danny she specifically didn't want to do the cleaning.
Oti and Richard took over cooking duties, ending 'Delvin's Diner', possibly to the delight of host Ant, who had previously dissed it as 'rubbish' several times.
Danny confessed about the mix-up with Jane, revealing he thought she had expressed the contrary and only wanted cleaning responsibilities. This admission comes at a time when the camp has seen its first major tensions of the week, with Alan and Dean almost coming to loggerheads.
Discontent brewed among some contestants when Dean was spotted taking a snooze while Jane went off to collect wood, a task not meant for her to undertake solo. Although Alan wasn't supposed to assist her, he did anyway. Once Dean stirred from his slumber to lend a hand, he brushed Alan off, telling him, "You can go back now."
Alan responded, "I was trying to wake you up as soft as I could."
In defence, Dean retorted, "Listen to me. If you're going to wake me up, you need to give me a minute, alright? It takes a couple of minutes for my contact lenses to get back working again, alright, so you don't need to turn around to me and say, 'Do you not fancy it? ' OK? And then turn around and walk away."
I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
