ITV I'm A Celebrity fans say 'my heart dropped' as contestant sparks quit fears

I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left worried over one campmate on Tuesday evening.

During the latest instalment, Tulisa Contostavlos was seen tackling the washing up duties, only to be joined by Barry McGuigan who offered to lend a hand. Barry, 63, dashed ahead with some kitchenware to the creek but Tulisa, 36, was later puzzled to find him missing upon her arrival at the stream.

Tulisa was left stunned as she looked around and shouted: "Barry…Barry? Where’s he gone?" Following a long time of calling for Barry continuously, finally he appeared further up the jungle greenery looking confused, as Tulisa laughed and said: "You’ve gone too far!"

Later, while musing in the Bush Telegraph, Tulisa expressed that Barry might need supervision until he's more familiar with his surroundings, she said: "I think until Barry learns his way around the jungle a bit more, I'll be keeping an eye on him because we don't want to lose him out there, it's a dangerous place!", reports the Express.

After watching the moment, viewers were left concerned Barry had quit the show due to going missing briefly. Taking to Twitter, now X, one person said: "Do not tell me Barry has left… #ImACeleb", a different account wrote: "I hope Barry hasn’t left #ImACeleb", another person put: "BARRY BETTER STILL BE IN THE JUNGLE OMG!!!! #ImACeleb" while a different account added: "I hope barry hasn't left #ImACeleb."

However, thankfully, Barry hadn't left the show and instead had just walked further up ahead from Tulisa. Taking to Twitter, now X, viewers were left relieved Barry was still in the jungle. One person joked: "Barry trying to leave or what? #imaceleb" with laughing emojis, another wrote: "Thank god Barry didn’t leave I thought he left my heart dropped #ImACeleb" while a different account added: "Barry got lost, bless him haha. #ImACeleb."

I'm A Celebrity returned to television screens earlier this month with Loose Women panellist Jane Moore, Coleen Rooney, Coronation Street star Alan Halsall, dancer Oti Mabuse, BBC Radio presenter Dean McCullough, N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos, boxing legend Barry McGuigan, McFly's Danny Jones, radio DJ Melvin Odoom and TikTok sensation GK Barry.

Meanwhile, Maura Higgins and Reverend Richard Coles joined the line-up last week as late arrivals to the star-studded camp.
