I'm A Celebrity viewers reckon they noticed a subtle dig at Dean McCullough before the latest Bushtucker trial.
The public voted for the Radio 1 presenter to tackle the newest challenge Rank Bank. This time, however, he was accompanied by McFly's Danny Jones and Coronation Street's Alan Halsall to face it.
Ant and Dec announced that all the campmates would be there to witness the event as they would also be affected by the outcome.
Before heading down to the trial area, the trio popped into the Bush Telegraph to express their thoughts. Dean attempted to claim he had experience since he has faced the most trials, despite having said 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' twice.
He also suggested that Danny's skills would be beneficial even though the task would pit them against each other. However, viewers believe they detected a veiled insult towards Dean, reports OK!.
Danny referred to Dean as a 'veteran', but there was a noticeable pause before he used the term. Many viewers at home suspect he might have been considering saying something else.
One viewer shared on social media: "'Dean is an absolute.....veteran' Danny definitely was thinking something else." Another chimed in: "'Dean's an absolute...veteran' we all know what Danny wanted to say."
Earlier in the episode, fans expressed their delight that Dean's new nickname in the camp had caught on. It came after another radio DJ dubbed him Houdini following complaints about his camp duties.
One viewer commented: "The fact that the camp mates keep referring to Dean as Houdini is killing me lmao."
Another chimed in: "It's a shame Melvin probably won't get the public support because he's actually quite entertaining IMO. His Houdini running joke regards Dean's laziness is brilliant."
