Campmate Barry McGuigan impressed I'm A Celebrity viewers this week with a talent that he showcased in camp.

Tuesday night's episode of the ITV show showed the group bushtucker trial Fright Bus, which resulted in the campmates winning prizes to take back to camp. McFly member Danny Jones received a guitar and later led a singalong to the band's song Shine A Light, with some of his co-stars joining in.

Radio presenters Dean McCullough and Melvin Odoom took turns to sing a solo, before former professional boxer Barry, 63, surprised the camp with his vocal abilities. Reverend Richard Coles said: "Revelation of the evening, [Barry] can sing like a canary, it was lovely."

It wasn't just those in camp who were impressed, with some viewers taking to X, formerly Twitter, to share their reactions following the scene. One wrote: "Omg Barry has some voice." Another said: "Who knew? [Barry] has decent pipes!! Go for it Bazza!" A third commented: "A star is born. Who knew [Barry] was a singer in the making."

"Barry actually has a nice voice," someone wrote on the platform. Another viewer said: "Barry can sing!" Whilst a sixth person reacted: "Barry serving vocals." Another fan teased: "Sorry who's in Mcfly, Danny or Barry?! It's giving vocalsssssss."

Sharing their thoughts, one person said: "We've had to listen Dean singing when Melvin and Barry can sing like that?? Cmon lads." Another fan commented on Tuesday: "[Barry] singing McFly is one of the most wholesome of things."

Others suggested that it was no surprise, reminding that Barry's late father Pat McGuigan was a singer. Pat notably represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1968 with the song Chance of a Lifetime. He placed fourth at the contest, which was held in the UK that year, whilst Spain's Massiel won with La La La.

One viewer commented following the scene on I'm A Celebrity this week: "Of course Barry can sing, his dad represented Oireland at Eurovision '68." Another said: "Barry's father being a eurovision participant makes so much sense."

During the same episode, Barry sparked concern when he disappeared whilst out in the jungle with co-star Tulisa Contostavlos, 36. Camp leader Barry offered to help Tulisa, who's tasked with washing up duty, by carrying some pots and pans down to the stream.

He went ahead though, leaving Tulisa confused over his whereabouts when she reached the washing spot down at the stream. N-Dubz member Tulisa was heard shouting his name out several times as she looked around for him. Barry later reappeared and Tulisa explained that he had travelled too far.

Later reflecting in the bush telegraph, Tulisa expressed some concern, saying: "I think until Barry learns his way around the jungle a bit more, I'll be keeping an eye on him because we don't want to lose him out there, it's a dangerous place."
