Mark Labbett's ex-wife looks entirely unrecognisable as she reunited with The Chase star five months after his break-up with his ex-girlfriend.

The 59-year-old, better known as The Beast on the ITV show, grinned as he posed for a selfie with his former partner, Katie, 31, who he is still legally married to.

Taking to his Instagram story, Mark sported a grey sweater and a black coat while meeting up with his second cousin Katie, who he shares his seven-year-old son Lawrence with, for a family day out.

File photo dated 09/11/2017 of Mark Labbett and wife Katie who are to split after their open marriage failed to work, the 55-year-old TV quizzer and Katie, 28, have been married for seven years and have a three-year-old son together.

Katie looked gorgeous as she posed for the camera with a big pout and her long glossy blonde locks falling down below her shoulders.

The pair, who keep their child out of the limelight, visited the Warner Bros. Studios for The Making of Harry Potter tour just outside of London. Mark wrote in his caption: "Co-parenting in London part one #wbtourlondon. Little Monster loved the Forbidden Forest."

Mark and Katie split up back in 2020 after seven years of marriage, citing their 27-year age gap and struggles during the Covid-19 lockdown for their separation.

The former couple, who had an open marriage, decided to leave his ex-wife so she could move on with her lover Scott.

At the time the pair said The Chase star's workload and worldwide travel was the reason behind their split but the 59-year-old later admitted that Katie's ongoing relationship with Scott had taken its toll on him.

Mark and Katie's reunion comes just days after the TV star broke his silence on his split from his ex-girlfriend Hayley Palmer.

The ITV Chaser's relationship with Hayley came to an abrupt end just weeks after the former couple celebrated their one-year anniversary with a Beefeater pub meal and walk on the beach.

Hayley, 42, claimed that he had ended their one year romance because Mark did not want to legally split from Katie but he denied this accusation, saying it was actually down to him and his 'old' age.

Speaking to The Sun, Mark said: "She's [Hayley's] a lovely lady and I was very lucky to date her for a year, and as I said...it's me, I got old. There's been no one since Hayley, I'm not saying there won't be another one. But I'm certainly not looking."

Opening up life on his own, Mark said: "I joke I am a shed man - a guy of a certain age that's quite content being in or out of a relationship - but loves to be spending time on their own.

"It's primal, I think it goes all the way back to the hunter-gatherers where the man would go off a lot of time on their own. To be fair it's not just men, there are people who actually like their own company.

"I've got a friendship group around here where we go out but at the same time, I've really loved this summer, just being quietly here etc."

Mark, who has starred on the hit ITV quiz show for 15 years, added: "It's not that I miss anyone in particular, I was single not coincidentally for a long long time when I was a 29st maths teacher, who knew it was quite hard to attract a partner then. So I'm quite comfortable without a partner."

Despite his contentment at being single, Mark joked that is he not short of offers as he revealed that his DMs have been flooded with messages from single women.

He remarked: "Yes [single women are sliding in my DMs] but don't ask me any more than that."
