The Chase: Jenny Ryan pokes fun at Bradley Walsh
Jenny Ryan has announced that she will be embarking on a new role away from The Chase. The brainy quizzer, known for her role as The Vixen, will be appearing in Crewe's pantomine production this Christmas.
Taking to social media to announce the exciting news, Jenny shared the official poster of Beauty and The Beast which kick starts on Friday 13 December.
She did a joint post saying: "Not long to Panto time now - first up is @jenny_from_the_quiz who is appearing in Beauty & The Beast at @crewe.lyceum from Friday 13th December to Sunday 5th."
Despite being known for her role on The Chase, Jenny is also a talented singer and hosts the Finger Buzzers podcast with comedian Lucy Porter.
She also recently announced a one-woman show which took place in Lytham on September 17, which saw her go through her journey into showbiz and included some live singing.
Known for her iconic red hairstyle on The Chase, Jenny first joined the hit ITV show in 2015. She first dipped her toe into quizzing in 2003 when she helped her univeristy reach the semi-finals of University Challenge.
Three years later, she appeared on Mastermind and selected Buffy the Vampire Slayer as her specialist subject.
After this, she was featured on the BBC quiz show, Are You An Egghead?, and even worked on the BBC Two show QI. In 2009, she was asked to write for the pilot episode of The Chase.

It was in 2015 when Anne Hegerty recommended her to ITV bosses to join the show as a Chaser. She made her debut in September that year and has been a firm favourite ever since.
She's also experienced other TV opportunities, such as Celebrity MasterChef in 2019 and took part in X Factor: Celebrities in the same year.
