Janette Manrara has been spending time with her family on the Strictly Come Dancing tour.
As previously reported, Wynne, 53, has been under fire over his vile remark towards Janette during a photocall at the Strictly launch show. He was filmed while making an inappropriate sexual comment to Janette, who acts as host on the tour, when she walked over to the group.
He was heard singing: "Go Compare," before adding: "Not too close to Jamie [Borthwick]." He was then heard using the demeaning term "spit roast" in reference to a lewd sexual act. It wasn't long before Wynne confirmed his departure from the live tour, with the star saying in a statement: "I’ve agreed with the BBC that I’ll take some time out from my radio show and the Strictly Live tour, as well as my other public commitments, to prioritise my wellbeing.
"I am deeply sorry for the pain my inappropriate actions have caused, and plan to take this time for self-reflection. Apologies to those I won’t get to see at the remaining performances and I’m grateful to my fellow tour gang for all the amazing support they have given me.”
Despite the incident, she chose to focus on quality family time with her husband, Aljaž Škorjanec, their daughter Lyra, and her mother, Maritza, who had travelled from Miami to join them. Maritza and Janette's brother, Alejandro, accompanied them on the UK tour to assist with Lyra's care.

Instagram)Janette expressed her gratitude towards her mother on social media, acknowledging her support during this challenging period, which allowed Janette to continue her professional commitments while ensuring Lyra was well cared for.
She wrote on Instagram, alongside a collection of snaps from the outing: "“This is a special post for my mother @stepby2designs who has really helped us out these past 2 weeks. It really does take a village and as a working parent, having her to be there for Lyra meant the world. I could not be doing shows and entertaining audiences if it was not for her coming and making sure Lyra was well and looked after.
“It’s extra special as they do not get to spend time together and were really able to bond these past 2 weeks, with the surprise visit from her uncle (my brother @fizzymanrara) too! My heart was full. Mom, I love you, I appreciate you, and I cannot wait to see you again soon.”
In response to the controversy, Wynne Evans issued an apology and decided to take a break to prioritise his well-being, with support from his partner, Katya Jones.
The BBC were reportedly already planning to speak to Wynne at the beginning of next week about the spitroast comment, which was directed towards dancer and presenter Janette. A source said: “The BBC very much want to pull up the floorboards and have a good look around, and see if there is anything to answer about beyond the spitroast comment. They are planning to sit Wynne down and have a frank conversation to him about his conduct.
“The meeting is currently scheduled for the start of next week but they are well aware that Wynne is really struggling with everything, and his welfare comes first, so will give him as much time as he needs.” The same source said that Evans was in a “bad way” in the aftermath of him having to step down from the tour. He is desperately worried about losing his career.
