It seems Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are keeping things civil despite the former filing for divorce back on August 20.

In fact, Affleck was even complimentary of his wife, calling Lopez "spectacular" in their new movie 'Unstoppable'.

While Lopez didn't refer to Ben while responding, she did take his compliment in stride while on the red carpet of the film's London premiere on November 5.

"In front of the camera and behind the scenes as well, Ben Affleck described you as spectacular in your performance," a reporter told Lopez.

"How would you describe his producing?"

Lopez, who starts in a supporting role in the film that is produced by Affleck, took the compliment in stride without naming her estranged husband.

"I would describe all of the cast and everybody behind the scenes as spectacular and wonderful," she said.

Affleck's comments came while speaking to Entertainment Tonight on November 3, an interview in which he praised the entire cast of the film.

"Unstoppable is a very different movie than this, but in a way, it's similarly rooted in the passion of really talented artists. It speaks to a certain kind of thing I guess we're drawn to," he said of the film, which is inspired by a real-life wrestler born with one leg who becomes a college champion.

"We really believe in the power of storytelling when the people involved in it are deeply connected to the story."

"Jennifer's spectacular," he said of Lopez, who plays the character's mother in the film, while also complimenting costars, Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Don Cheadle and director William Goldenberg. "We believed in the right people, and Unstoppable is another example of that."

Lopez and Affleck still at odds

Although Lopez and Affleck worked together on the film, they haven't reconciled after the former filed for divorce in August.

It came two years to the date of their lavish wedding at Affleck's Georgia estate.

Lopez spoke about how she plans on spending her holidays amid her divorce, while admitting it's been a difficult year for her.

"It was a pretty intense year for me and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast," she told People.

"The holidays are such a special time for us, and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories."
