The musician hugged her two kids after JLo announced her win for her latest album 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran.' Earlier today, Jennifer took to social media to celebrate the fifth anniversary of her and Shakira's Super Bowl Halftime Show, sharing clips before the performance.
Shakira dedicated her Grammy win to "all the immigrants" in the United States. "In this country, you are loved. You are worth it, and I will always fight for you," the singer declared after receiving her award.
Before her emotional speech, Shakira had a sweet moment with JLo, hugging her fellow artist and longtime friend. The Colombian performer also dedicated her win to her two kids, Sasha and Milan, who were in the audience, wearing matching tuxedos and watching their mom receive her award.
“I, too, have been an immigrant who came to this country with a dream […] Latinos, we are an unstoppable force. I will not tire of fighting with them and for them," Shakira told reporters on the red carpet.
Shakira also shared details of her upcoming tour, revealing that her performance at the Grammys is "a little sneak peek of what you can expect on my on my tour which starts in less than two weeks."
"Starts in Brazil and then I'm going to go through Latin America and come to the U.S. in May," she said to Extra. Shakira also said it is her first tour in seven years, adding, “This one is the biggest one of my career. It's a really big, elaborate production. I've been working on this show for 10 months… It's a stadium tour.”
