Jerry O’Connell Wants RHOBH Diamond Amid The Talk Cancelation

Actor Jerry O’Connell is looking for his next gig, now that his current show The Talk is canceled.

“Maybe I can be the first Real House Husband who’s a cast member,” the Stand by Me star said. “I want a diamond! That would be really fun. I think I’d do a great job.”

Despite being an avid fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it’s probably never going to happen. “My wife [actress Rebecca Romijn] won’t do it,” he admitted. “She’s much more private.”

Jerry really wants to be a RHOBH “House Husband”

Married since 2007, Jerry and Rebecca are parents to 16-year-old twin daughters Charlie and Dolly. But don’t count on them to bring much drama to the show.

“They’re not vaping,” the Bravo fan told Us Weekly. “And, at least, so I’m told, aren’t ‘getting with’ anybody, so that’s good.”

This isn’t Jerry’s first time pitching himself for the cast of RHOBH. Back in October 2022, he talked about how much he’d love to be on the show.

“Would I consider it? Yes,” he said at the time. “I’ll tell you, I really wanted to be a House Husband. Like, I look at Mauricio [Umansky], and Ken Todd [Lisa Vanderpump’s husband] and PK [Kemsley], and I wanna, like, hang out with those guys.” He might want to check in with PK and ask how he’s feeling about his Housewives experience these days.

Rebecca would rather remain just a fan of the show

Though also a big fan of the show, Rebecca’s not so eager to join the show the cast.

“We’re such fans of the franchise,” she confessed. “[But] the truth is probably not, ‘cause I really would rather talk about them than be one of them. I feel like I would miss out on the gossip part of it. Or I guess, they all gossip when they’re on the show, but I don’t like fighting.”

Jerry agreed with his wife, remembering when Lisa Rinna got booed at BravoCon. That was “a little scary,” he acknowledged. Rinna responded by giving the fans a double-bird salute. Always classy, that one.

“If I got booed at BravoCon, I would leave the country,” Jerry laughed. “I would be gone. I don’t know if I could handle it, but Lisa Rinna handles it really well.”

Jerry actually has already appeared on the show at least once. In 2018, he and Rebecca attended the wedding when Denise Richards married Aaron Phypers.
