What's New
Justin Baldoni's career woes continue amid his legal battle with Blake Lively after Liz Plank revealed she will "no longer be co-hosting" his Man Enough podcast.
"Thank you for trusting me with your hearts and stories, for holding space for mine, and for making this show what it was," Canadian author and journalist Plank wrote in a post on Instagram. "Thank you for being here, for trusting me, and for being by my side for the last four years. We all deserve better, and I know that together, we can create it."
Newsweek contacted Plank's representatives by email on Tuesday morning for comment.
Why It Matters
Baldoni, 40, is being sued by Hollywood A-lister Lively over allegations of sexual harassment, misconduct and conducting a smear campaign to ruin her reputation. The actress claimed this occurred when they were filming the movie, It Ends With Us, which was released in August and was a box-office hit. Baldoni has denied all the allegations.
Lively filed the suit on Friday where she accused Baldoni and Heath of not providing an intimacy coordinator on set, changing scenes to add more sex, "unwanted kissing," showing nude images to cast and crew, discussing Lively's weight, and a "hostile work environment," among other accusations.
What To Know
"I will continue to support everyone who calls out injustice and holds the people standing in their way accountable," Plank wrote in her Instagram post. "I have so much appreciation for the crew and producers that who you never got to see but whose extraordinary work i got to witness ❤️"
Baldoni and Plank launched the podcast in 2021 with the CEO of Wayfarer Studios, Jamey Heath, who also co-produced It Ends With Us, and is named in Lively's lawsuit.
The podcast is described as exploring "what it means to be a man today and how rigid gender roles have affected all people," according to its website.
"The show creates a safe environment for a range of perspectives to meet and stay at the table…Instead of polarizing and demonizing men and masculinity, it invites all humans to participate and thrive in the world," reads the show description.
