Singer Justin Bieber recently unfollowed his wife Hailey Bieber on Instagram, but has since explained the bizarre reason why after fans were in uproar sparking split rumours

Justin Bieber has explained why he unfollowed his wife Hailey.

After the incident occurred, which sparked fans to speculate that that couple had decided to split, he took to Instagram to set the record straight.

In a now deleted post on his story, Justin explained: "Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. Shit is getting suss out here."

Bieber further shut down the rumours as he shared a sweet tribute to Hailey. He uploaded a picture of the model sporting a winter coat, covering her head with a scarf as she gazed off into the distance.

Mrs Bieber wore her hair in poker straight layers and smiled sweetly as she posed with her hands in her pockets. For the caption, Justin showed his sweet side.

"The greatest woman I have and will ever know," he gushed, before adding a pink heart emoji with an in-love expression.

Social media was ablaze with speculation after Justin's account unfollowed Hailey's. Taking to X/Twitter, fans were in a frenzy as one person posted: "DID THEY SEPARATE?”

Another confused fan of the couple tweeted: "They've been through so much—I wanted them to make it," while a third person chimed in: "It's very clear it's a mistake as he posted a sweet message to her the other day, I know many people keep wishing on these two downfall and I think it's so pathetic."
