Kate Chastain gives her thoughts on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
The fan favorite former Chief Stew of the Below Deck series is just as enthralled in season 5 of RHOSLC as we are!
Kate expressed her sentiments on X (formerly known as Twitter.)
“I am being completely serious when I say this season of #RHOSLC deserves an Emmy,” Kate begins in her tweet earlier this week.
“This scene alone….the bright outfits, the turquoise water sparkling in the background, the way the boat is rocking up and down so dramatically. It’s STUNNING.”
Kate also replied back to a follower saying the SLC franchise is “White Lotus” coded. Over the top, wealthy, and just a little outlandish.
The scene in question that had Kate nominating the franchise featured Bronwyn Newport opening up about her martial issues with Todd while on their cast trip to Mexico.
Receipts, proof, screenshots, EMMY
The thematic moment where Bronwyn confides in the women about not feeling “good enough” was set to the gorgeous and bright Mexican waters.
It truly was an experience for every sense — production for Real Housewives of Salt Lake City tends to get that right.
Honestly, I agree with Kate. RHOSLC is checking off every box and a true masterclass to every other franchise.
The cast, the drama, the chaos, the CAMP?! It’s all working, and working well.
The new cast members — Bronwyn and Britani Bateman — are welcome additions.
I was nervous when Monica Garcia wasn’t asked back. How could they possibly top the scandal that was “Reality Von Tease.” We don’t miss or long for that storyline to be tied up. I don’t even remember Monica when we have Lisa Barlow v. everybody.
When so many franchises are currently getting it wrong, we should relish in the fact SLC is getting it right.
BTW — if you’re longing for more Kate in your life, she currently hosts BRAVO BRAVO F’ING BRAVO on bravotv.com.
