Katie Price confuses fans with pic of two babies saying 'my twins have arrived'

Katie Price has left her fans utterly baffled after she uploaded a snap of twin babies on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, right in the middle of the buzz for her new Channel 4 documentary about her IVF struggles. The 46-year-old ex-glamour model uploaded a pic of two tiny tots, one decked out in pink and the other in grey, with Katie's hand tenderly touching them, though their faces were kept under wraps.

It's a mystery who these children are, but they're definitely not her sister Sophie's – she's only expecting one little girl, as announced back in July. Katie's been open about her itch to have another child, even boldly stating, "It's going to happen one way or another."

The mum-of-five has had quite the ordeal, having gone through a fertility fight with her ex-beau Carl Woods before they called it quits at the tail end of 2023. Despite three rounds of IVF that didn't pan out, Katie's still dreaming of a baby with her latest flame, Married At First Sight UK hunk JJ Slater.

As she continues her quest to expand her family, Katie Price's past struggles and emotional journey to have another child with Carl will be laid bare in a new documentary set to air next year. The Channel 4 programme, titled 'Katie Price: Making Babies', is expected to hit screens in March, reports OK!

The raw and heart-wrenching nature of the fly-on-the-wall documentary is likely to stir up painful emotions for both Katie and Carl. Katie has confessed that she "can't" watch it back, and sources suggest that the experience was so distressing for Carl that he is not pleased about the screening going ahead and is "trying to stop" it.

"Carl doesn't want it aired – it was filmed when the pair were a couple trying for a baby," an insider said. "It would bring back hurtful memories for him and it would open up a can of worms and demons he's worked hard to get rid of. He's closed that chapter with Katie."

Back when former reality star Carl and Katie were happily together, he was eager to share his desire to start a family with his then-fiancée.

"I would love children of my own," he confessed on Good Morning Britain in 2021. "Before this, I swore blind I would never date a girl with kids and I jumped in with five."

However, following their acrimonious split, his perspective has shifted. In a recent interview, he commented about his ex, "I don't think she cares who she has a baby with, as long as she gets a baby. In that situation, it's not about who – it doesn't matter."

The programme promises to be a tear-jerker, with insiders revealing the documentary will depict Katie "facing numerous hurdles and highs and lows along the way. The show will highlight the challenges women encounter when trying for a baby in their forties."

Another person close to the former glamour model previously stated, "Katie is committed to showing the raw and real side of IVF, and how it has been a deeply personal struggle for her."

Katie, who is mum to Harvey, 22, from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, from her marriage to Peter Andre, and Jett, 11, and Bunny, 10, from her marriage to Kieran Hayler, recently opened up about her journey and ongoing wish to expand her family on Olivia Attwood's podcast, So Wrong It's Right.

"You'll see a programme coming out, I can't even watch it," she revealed to Olivia about the upcoming documentary. "I've asked my sister to watch it back – my IVF journey – it's failed and failed. It's with the ex. People have got to remember if I act young or look younger, your body is still 46 and your eggs get less and they get older and it's harder."

When Olivia probed whether she definitely wants another child, Katie responded, "Or two. It's going to happen one way or another. I don't know how, but I'm not giving up."
