Katie Price has revealed that her financial woes will soon be coming to an end with the end of her second bankruptcy.
I’m a Celeb star Katie, 46, was declared bankrupt for the second time in March 2024, but has shared that after just 12 months she’ll be free of the limiting state. Katie also raved excitement over the end of her driving ban, stemming from a 2021 crash and then extended after she was caught driving without insurance or a license.
The former Page 3 model spoke to her sister Sophie in the new episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, released this morning, and gushed: "There's just nothing negative around me. The bankruptcy ends in March. Woo, woo! That bit ends, so I'm back on track."

Having my independence back is so nice to the point that if I'm in the car with the kids, I'm like, 'I'm sorry kids if I'm driving slow. If I'm in a 30, I set it at 30. Or on the motorway, I set it at 70. They're like, 'No, mum. It's good, it's good that you're sensible. No, no, we love this, mum.”
Peter Andre’s ex excitedly said: "I have changed a lot. I think the past is the past, the future is the future and continue on that. I'm glad last year's done. Lots of good things are happening."
Katie’s most notable driving crime occurred in September 2021, when she crashed her BMW in West Sussex. Katie was banned for driving for two years after the crash and also handed a 16-week suspended jail sentence for drink-driving while disqualified and without insurance.
During that court appearance, the prosecutor noted that Katie had five previous driving bans. In March last year, the former glamour model was fined £880 for driving without a licence or insurance after a court heard she was recognised by a police officer at a petrol station.
Despite now being allowed to drive again, Katie recently revealed that her dodgy driving history means that insurance companies have quoted her six figures, but she still qualifies for car rental. "No insurance company will insure me, they want £150,000 down, and £8,000 a month," she admitted on Rob Moore's Disruptors podcast.
While being free of bankruptcy will help sort her car troubles out, Katie has a past of financial difficulties. At the peak of her career, she had an estimated fortune of £45 million, but her habit of supporting ex-partners' lavish lifestyles and legal expenses led to her first bankruptcy in 2019 over debts totalling £3.2 million.
In a recent interview with The Times, she opened up about how men have ruined her finances. “You don’t have to be a genius to work out that men are the downfall in my life. A million per cent,” she said.
“All my dramas, my bankruptcy - everything is men. Always men. That is it. When you see exes gloat around, knowing you’ve paid for stuff, that’s the worst torment for me."
