Earlier this week, it was reported that Keke Palmer said in her upcoming memoir Master of Me: The Secret to Controlling Your Narrative that series co-creator Ryan Murphy "ripped" into her for declining to come to set on one of her pre-scheduled days off. She alleged that he called her "unprofessional" and that the incident led to him not working with her further in the future.

She further writes that an unnamed costar made a racist comment towards her, saying during a confrontation, "Keke, literally, just don’t. Who do you think you are? Martin fucking Luther King?"

Now, Skyler Samuels — who played Grace Gardner on the show — has her own piece to say. "I am incredibly proud of Keke for speaking out about her experiences on Scream Queens," she wrote on Instagram.

"Scream Queens was a very challenging show to make. Keke was one of the only people who stood up for me. She was brave enough to have my back even though she knew it might make her the target of bullies on set," she continued.

Concluding, the Wizards of Waverly Place alum added, "I have unending gratitude for the professionalism and kindness Keke showed me. She is a leading lady in this industry who is well aware of her influence, and she uses it for the better."
