It's been a hard few weeks for reality star Kerry Katona. The 44 year old's mum Sue, 64, has been close to passing away in hospital as she battles with her health, while Kerry tends to her by her bedside. And in a new update, Kerry told readers of her OK! for her column about her worry for her mum and made a desperate plea to her fans and followers: "Please send all your prayers to us."
"I've had a very challenging week visiting my mum in hospital every day," the 44 year old said. "She's suffering from blood clots and other health issues and I've cancelled all of my work to focus on looking after her. It’s been an emotional week. I’d usually do something with the kids for Bonfire Night, but it really depends on how my mum is doing. I don’t want to make any plans as my routine is all so dependent on her."

INSTAGRAM)This latest update comes after Kerry tearfully told OK! her mum could have died if Kerry hadn't acted quickly and taken her to hospital. She tearfully said: “I am really, really scared that this is it, I could lose her. It has been a horrible week and I just feel terrified, I’ve not been sleeping and have been spending all my time in the hospital with my mum. I want to spend every last minute with her." Upon admission to hospital doctors found two blood clots in Sue's lungs as well as issues with her heart.
“She’s on blood thinners now, but the medications increase her chance of having a stroke and a brain bleed," Kerry explained. "It’s all very touch and go."
Amid Kerry's turmoil over her mum's health, fans were concerned for her when she announced on Instagram last week she is "single," fuelling rumours she has split from her fiancé of six years Ryan Mahoney. She replied to a cheeky comment from pal Danielle Brown about a doctor, which implied she was single.
However, the next day Kerry cleared up the rumours insisting it was all a joke. "My mum has the funniest sense of humour and we was all just playing along with her!" Kerry said. The social media comment came days after Kerry said she and Ryan were arguing like "cat and dog."
