KERRY Katona has shared an emotional message with fans as she reflects on a tough year following her split from Ryan Mahoney.
The 44-year-old confirmed her split from Ryan, 36, last month after the former couple were together for six years.
Now Kerry has taken to Instagram to thank her friends and family for getting her through the hard period.
Looking tearful, the former Atomic Kitten singer said: “Things seem to be getting crazier and crazier.
“The main thing is I have amazing children, I have my health and I have the most wonderful and surprising friends around me for support.
“I never thought 2024 would’ve ended like this. Never. But there you go.”
Friends and fans rushed to comment on Kerry’s post, with Katie Price writing: “You have got this and I’m by your side everyday in every way.”
Someone else said: “Keep on smiling @kerrykatona7 things happen for a reason. Like you say you have your kids and your health. 2025 will be your year.”
And a third added: “You’ve bounced back before. You will again. And every time you get stronger. You got this.”
While any breakup is difficult, Kerry is finding it particularly hard due to the close bond Ryan had built with her children Molly, 21, Lilly-Sue, 20, Heidi, 16, Max, 14, and eight-year-old DJ.
A source previously told The Sun: “Kerry’s kids are really devastated about Ryan moving out - it’s hit them really hard.
"He was like a dad to them because he has been in their lives for such a long time.

"Kerry hates seeing them upset, it makes her sick to her stomach so she is doing everything in her power to make sure she is constantly checking up on them.
"It’s been really hard explaining to them all why she and Ryan have separated, but she is trying to be strong for them and is putting her own heartache to one side to ensure the kids are supported.”
Kerry confirmed the sad news in her column for new! magazine last month, writing: “We are no longer together and It’s been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen.
“Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us."
