Kerry Katona spends weekend away with new man after split from fiancé Ryan Mahoney

Kerry Katona took a trip away with celebrity chef Jameson Stocks, after saying she was no longer 'heartbroken' about her split from Ryan Mahoney after six years together

Kerry Katona, 44, seems to have found a new companion a couple of months after she broke up with her fiancé, Ryan Mahoney.

The Atomic Kitten star was captured on the Instagram Stories of celebrity chef Jameson Stocks on Sunday. In the photo, Kerry glanced out of the window of a train, glowing while makeup-free and her hair tied back in a messy ponytail. The duo seemed to have taken a weekend trip away, with Jameson captioning the post: “Heading back up north.”

Kerry has five children, and is currently a single mother after her split. Similarly, Jameson is a single dad to two sons. The chef overcame great heights to reach his success, having lived on the street as a teen before getting a job at a Marco Pierre White restaurant when he was just 15.

Earlier this month, Kerry shared that she was in a much better place after struggling with her breakup in the early days. In her weekly OK! Column, she wrote: "I’m feeling really good going into 2025 – it’s going to be a great year. I’m not heartbroken any more and feel like I know that Ryan wasn’t the one for me.

"I’m a single woman and am in the best relationship of my life, which is with myself. I know people do things like Dry January and diets, but I don’t drink much anyway and like to work on myself every day, so I’m not into any of that. I’m just going to take it easy this month."

Back when Kerry first announced her breakup, she cited a “breach of trust” for her separation from Ryan after six years together. She admitted it was tough getting used to juggling family life and work without help of a partner.

"I’m flat out with work at the moment and it’s difficult balancing that and the kids. I’m adjusting to being a single mum again and it’s not easy, I have to split myself into lots of different pieces," she shared.

The star first confirmed that fitness trainer Ryan had moved out of their family home in an emotional blog post: "Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. 

"We are no longer together and It's been a really tough week - I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.

"I don't know if we'll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it's so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I've been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens."
