Kim Kardashian takes gift-giving to a whole new level — and Tracy Romulus just got the ultimate birthday surprise.
To celebrate her bestie's 45th trip around the sun, the 44-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians icon gave Romulus a Tesla Cybertruck. The birthday girl's reaction? Pure shock.
In a video shared on Romulus' Instagram Stories on Wednesday, December 18, Kardashian told her friend to "look outside." What awaited was the futuristic vehicle that left the SKIMS executive VP speechless. "What?! Are you f***ing serious? Are you nuts? Are you crazy?" she exclaimed.
Grinning, the reality TV star said, "Happy birthday!" before asking, "Should we take your car tonight?"
For those left in the dark, pricing for the Cybertruck starts at $79,990, according to Tesla.
Over the clip, Romulus — who is also the chief marketing officer of Kardashian's makeup line called KKW Beauty — wrote, "You've officially lost your mind @kimkardashian... I'm still in shock." She added, "I honestly have no words... this is so over-the-top crazy... only you... I love you."
Romulus' love for the SKIMS founder goes beyond extravagant gifts. In October, she gushed about her pal in a birthday tribute via Instagram, calling Kardashian the "best mom, friend, girl boss."
She continued, "You make everyone around you want to be a better and kinder version of themselves. You have so many gifts and one of them is always making time for everyone around you. I don't know how you do it but you do it daily. Thank you for the best and funniest memories, my Ride or Die. I love you!!!"
The two met almost 20 years ago and clicked instantly. Since then, they've built a bond rooted in friendship, family, and hustle. In 2021, Kardashian summed it up perfectly on X (formerly Twitter): "We met 15 years ago and instantly became besties! We had three of our kids at the same time who are all besties and have bonded over our work ethic and goals. You are one of the hardest working people I know."
