Lady Gaga learned that Chappell Roan named a hen after her – and had a fantastic reaction.

Lady Gaga, Chappell Roan, and Dua Lipa are the latest stars to appear in a festive special of Carpool Karaoke with Apple TV.

In a teasing snippet of the show, Chappell showed the presenter around her home in Springfield and introduced the presenter to her family’s hens.

‘We have Lady Gaga,’ the Good Luck Babe singer told New Zealand DJ Zane Lowe in the clip.

‘You’ve named the chicken Lady Gaga?’ he asked incredulously.

‘My father has. [He’s] a huge Gaga fan.’ She then listed the other hen’s names revealing some of the others were named after the Spice Girls.

The clip was shared on TikTok and caught the attention of fans – including Lady Gaga, who revealed she was delighted to have a chicken named after her.

‘An honor truly 🖤,’ replied Lady Gaga and got 12.9k likes.

Fans loved this wholesome interaction between the Poker Face singer and the snippet.

‘Queens recognizing Queens ❤️❤️❤️’ said Hyruleanswiftie on TikTok.

‘lol I love that Lady Gaga took the time to respond 😂’ said Recessionobsession.

‘Facts all dads love Lady Gaga… even if they don’t admit it,’ joked Yikeskrispy.

‘That’s such a fun and unique honor, classic Gaga,’ said virtualdiaryy_ on X.

Carpool Karaoke was originally a segment on James Corden’s Late Late Show, which ended last April after eight years and 1,200 episodes.

It saw James take famous singers out for a drive while they sang along to their hits. Previous guests included the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Britney Spears and Adele.

In A Carpool Karaoke Christmas, the Gavin and Stacey actor, 46, hands his duties over to broadcaster Zane, 51, who takes the popstars for a spin.

A Carpool Karaoke Christmas is available to stream on Apple TV Plus.
