Lamar Odom gifted a five-figure cosmetic makeover to a woman in need and In Touch has the before and after photos.
Back in April, Lamar, 44, announced a giveaway to his followers on social media. The NBA legend said he was giving away a “free smile makeover.”
Last year, Lamar became a business partner in Oxy Dental, a dental office located in Lomita, California. The winner of the giveaway was announced as Lisa Ward from California. The dentists at Oxy Dental started working on Lisa’s mouth in May and continued at various appointments through September.
A rep for Lamar tells In Touch that Lisa had to visit the dental office many times over the course of several months. The work done on Lisa included full mouth extractions, prosthetic solutions, and cutting-edge reconstructive surgery. The cost of the work totaled $16,000.
The rep tells us Lisa had suffered from severe dental issues for years, was “given a second chance at a confident, natural-looking smile thanks to innovative treatments.”
The rep said, “Oxy Dental was able to create a highly customized solution for the patient. With state-of-the-art 3D imaging, the team designed precise, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing prosthetics. These supported prosthetics were meticulously placed following the extraction of compromised teeth, ensuring both long-term durability and comfort.”
Earlier this year, TMZ reported that Lamar reached out to Gypsy Rose Blanchard to offer free dental work. Lamar, who had followed Gypsy’s story closely, wanted to help her out following her prison release. Sources told TMZ that Gypsy, 33, and Lamar spoke but it is unclear if she ever took him up on the offer. As In Touch previously reported, Lamar recently spoke out following the death of Liam Payne.
Lamar detailed his experience with pink cocaine, one of the drugs Liam took before falling out of a hotel window.
“Drugs could cause you to hallucinate — I’ve heard voices before,” Lamar said. “That’s about it.”
“Who wants to get high?” Lamar added. “I call it getting low.”
He continued, “I’m gonna make sure I say a prayer for his family and everyone that he knows.”
As In Touch previously reported, Lamar has been busy with the various business ventures he has launched in the past year.
Back in March, Lamar announced he would be launching a podcast with his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian’s relative, Caitlyn Jenner. Lamar and Khloe were married for seven years. The exes wed in 2009 and split in 2013 before finalizing their divorce in 2016. The podcast name was revealed to be Keeping Up With Sports.
The website for the project said, “Each episode goes beyond the headlines, providing listeners with an entertaining perspective on the personal stories behind the champions, delving into the highs and lows of being in the spotlight, recounting early struggles on the path to success, and exploring how today’s athletes navigate difficulties along their journeys.”
Sugar Ray Leonard, boxer Bryce Hall, Amber Rose, boxer Zab Judah, former Jackass star Steve-O and CBS basketball analyst Seth Davis were announced as guests.
In addition to the podcast, Lamar was a part of the “largest homeless givebacks L.A. County has ever seen” earlier this month.
