Liam Payne tragically died eight weeks ago after falling from the third floor of a hotel balcony in Argentina, but before being at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, he'd been staying at the high-security Palacio Duhau
Global sensation Liam Payne was laid to rest on November 20 – but there are still questions over the circumstances of his death.
One such question is why One Direction star Liam was even at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel, where he died on October 16. In the wake of the 31-year-old's passing, a number of hotel staff have been placed under investigation, with two more being added this week.
Claims about Liam's final moments soon emerged after his death. A number of people who had been at the hotel as guests or workers spoke out to describe his "erratic" behaviour.

It has widely been reported that Liam spent time with two escorts the day he died. And one man, who is under investigation but has not been charged, has claimed he took drugs with Liam.
But before being at the CasaSur Palermo, Liam had been staying at the Palacio Duhau – Park Hyatt Buenos Aires Hotel. The ultra swanky pad sees one-bedroom suites costing upwards of £1,000-a-night.
On top of that, the exclusive hotel had added security measures. They included having a front gate that would stop people not staying at the hotel from entering.
It's safe to assume, therefore, that it would be ideal for someone such as Liam, who was arguably one of the most recognisable men in the world thanks to his One Direction stardom. So with that in mind, why did he switch hotels?
There has been no word as of yet from the Park Hyatt as to why Liam left. However a source has claimed he was made to leave.
Back in October, just a few days after Liam's death, a source told People the singer had been asked to leave "because he was being a nuisance and disturbing the other guests and appeared intoxicated".
Similar reports emerged about Liam's behaviour at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in the lead-up to his death too, with many people also questioning why Liam had been left unsupervised if that really had been the case.
