In the wake of his tragic death, Liam’s family and friends have spoken out about their huge loss, including his sister Nicola sharing the heartbreaking reason the family have limited photos with the late star, The Mirror reports.

Taking to Instagram, Nicola shared an emotional post, in which she said she hopes her brother has now ‘found peace’ and wrote: "When I saw the news pop up on my phone that you had left us I went cold. I wanted so much for it to be untrue. I spent days hoping that it was a mistake. You were truly too good for this earth, you are an angel who lived to make people smile and be happy.”

She went on to praise the kind man her brother was, and added: "You have always shown kindness to everyone you met and it shows with just how many people have confirmed what we always knew!"

Nicola went on to share that Liam's family have few photos with him because they wanted him to feel relaxed and comfortable in their presence and never like he was "in a room of fans”.

She then went on to explain why she and her family have few photos with Liam, and said: "We don't have many pictures together as we never really did that as a family, we never wanted you to feel like you were in a room of fans. But we were your biggest fans - always and forever."

Addressing how talented her brother was, Nicola said: "Liam, you were certainly brilliant at everything you did!"

In the heartfelt post, she also highlighted the backlash her brother had received in recent times, and added: "Unfortunately, this cruel world is always too quick to judge someone from a five second clip, they think it entitles them to be able to speak like they know you. We knew you and we loved you."

Nicola also promised to make sure that Liam’s seven-year-old son, Bear ‘knows about his daddy’, and ended the sweet message with: “See you soon, Liam. Love you."
