Lisa Cannon shared how she will cherish her first Christmas with her daughter Seren.
The television presenter welcomed her first child with her husband Richard earlier this year.

Lisa explained that she’s looking forward to having her daughter crawling around during the chaos of Christmas.
She told RSVP Magazine: “Christmas this year will be joyous, serendipitous, emotional, incredibly special and wonderfully happy. I’m so grateful to have my beautiful daughter celebrating Christmas in our home surrounded by friends and family. Seren is the light of our lives. She makes us smile everyday.
“Although she’s still so tiny, I will still have the tree, mantle and the house decked out like Santa’s Grotto as I do every year. This year, as I’ve always hoped, there will be a little child to enjoy it and it’s wonderful. She’s crawling a bit now so I’m sure it will be chaos. Our little family is the four of us - me, my dad, my husband Richard and Seren.
“It's very special this year. We will cherish it in all its forms, take a ton of photos of dad and Seren together as he adores her and enjoy the newness of it all. I genuinely don’t want anything this year, I got everything I ever wanted and more.”
While she has her own traditions during the holidays, she is now looking forward to starting some new ones with Seren.
“This is our new little family’s story so Seren should have traditions like my grandmother and mother before me that get passed down and a few new ones with a twist,” she said.
“This year we are flying to Portugal to the Four Seasons Fairways Resort in Quinta do Lago and staying in a villa so we can enjoy some festivities in the run up to Christmas with friends and family.
“I plan on taking her swimming with my aunt, walking on the beach with friends, and eating good Portuguese food. We’ll get some much needed vitamin D too. It's a little different but I thought it would be great for us to switch off after a busy year and have some time away during the Christmas rush in December."
She added: “We all have matching red tartan M&S pyjamas - my aunt, cousins and now Seren included. That will be a great photo and I can’t wait to get us all together in them - comedy gold especially because hers are teeny tiny. Another tradition will be a Christmas in Wales.
“I look forward to some time in Camarthenshire with Richard's family who are an absolute hoot. They all work on UK TV and films so we will have lots to natter and gossip about as we tuck into the boxes of Roses.”
