In a welcome break from the British gloomy weather, Lizzie Cundy escaped to Barbados for some fun in the sun - and fans were loving her 'beautiful' outfit choice

Lizzie Cundy has once again dazzled her followers on social media as she showcased her flawless figure in a daring bikini while sunning it up on a festive holiday abroad. The TV personality, 56, looked decades younger as she soaked up the sunshine while on holiday in Barbados amid a well earned break from a jam-packed schedule back home.

Sharing a snap of her getaway on social media platform Instagram, Lizzie could be seen reclining back to show off her outfit, which consisted of a white lace bikini top and coverup as she topped up her tan. For comfort and practicality the star kept her hair neatly braided in a single braid over the shoulder, while shielding her eyes from harmful UV rays with a statement pair of oversized sunglasses.

To complete her ensemble, Lizzie opted for a minimal makeup look, with just the faintest hint of lipstick finishing her otherwise flawless complexion.

Fans were loving the look, with many taking to the comments section to praise the star for her enviable figure. One follower wrote: "How could you go to Barbados without me? You look adorable, sensational, you deserves the break. It's been working hard."

Lounging in the sun wasn’t the only holiday activity planned on her end of year getaway however, as the TV star also went on to share a glimpse of her holiday online, when she took to her Instagram Stories to document a behind the scenes glimpse of the luxury break.Kicking things off at Club Tropicana on Sunday evening, Lizzie first showed a glimpse of the resort at night, with several sun loungers lined up along a sand bank as the waves were caught in the distance.

The following day, once again Lizzie took to social media to show her home from home for the next few days, as she posted a stunning vista that featured a bright blue sky and equally blue ocean alongside the caption: “Good to be back!” A further slew of snaps showed Lizzie making the most of her time away from the UK, with temperatures in Barbados somewhere in the region of 29°C - a far cry from the promise of wind, rain and snow that is plaguing the British Isles this week.

It wasn’t all about rest and relaxation however, as the FUBAR radio star also revealed she had the open seas on her mind, when she revealed she would also be sailing for the latter half of Monday, with a small video clip offering fans a glimpse of her plans for the hours ahead.
