This week our social media feeds have been flooded with green outfits after the highly anticipated movie Wicked premiered in London. And now, Lorraine Kelly has even nodded to the hit movie with an outfit born for Emerald City.
On her ITV talk show yesterday (November 19), the 64-year-old presented wearing a green pleated dress, which is currently on sale. The Scottish TV personality wore the Pleated Woven Midaxi Shirt Dress With Belt from celebrity-loved brand Karen Millen, which is now £95, down from £119.
The dress features a shirt silhouette which transitions into a floaty, pleated skirt with a thick belt joining the two to cinch in the waist. It’s in a dreamy, forest green hue that feels quite festive and makes a change from the usual red and sequinned looks, but can equally work for year-round styling.

Lorraine styled her dress with a pair of red heels, which divided viewers. One follower commented on her Instagram post: “Love the dress and red shoes,” while another added: “Beautiful colour dress it really suits you.”
“Another gorgeous pleated dress Lorraine,” said a third. “And such a lovely colour you look absolutely beautiful and your hair and makeup looks lovely.” However, red and green has historically been considered a fashion faux pas, with one comment reading: “Mmmmmm not the red shoes.”
The dress, available in sizes 6-16, is smart enough to dress up for work, weddings and Christmas parties. But if you were to throw over a chunky knit, you’ve got yourself a more casual, relaxed look to see you through the AW24 season.
Another green Karen Millen number that’s giving us Elphaba vibes is the Fluid Tailored Asymmetric Draped Cape Straight Leg Jumpsuit. Martin Lewis’ co-star Angellica Bell wore the £139 piece for the Wicked premiere, and looked amazing as she stepped out onto the red carpet.
Elsewhere, we love this Velvet Round Neck Midi Tea Dress from Finery via Marks and Spencer, which is on sale for £44.25, down from £59. Alternatively, there’s the Green Feather Trimmed Slip Dress at River Island, priced at £49. Or you can copy Lorraine’s look with her Karen Millen dress here for £95.
