Lorraine Kelly has revealed she was given a stern warning over Coleen Rooney and Rebekah Vardy.

The TV presenter told her viewers that she has been advised against discussing their Wagatha Christie trial on her ITV show. It comes after WAG Coleen is currently competing on this year's I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! following her highly publicised court battle with Rebekah.

The Scouse star, 38, famously accused Rebekah of leaking stories to the Sun with an infamous social media post. Rebekah, who appeared on I'm A Celebrity in 2017, kicked off high-profile libel battle but in July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was "substantially true".

During Lorraine on Tuesday morning, host Lorraine discussed the latest episode of I'm A Celebrity and revealed her warning over referencing Wagatha Christie. Speaking to co-star Rishi Davda, Lorraine disclosed: "Now this is very serious Rishi, we've had some advice from our lawyers that we can't actually say Wagatha Christie.

"We can't say Wagatha Christie because it's owned by someone, so every time we say Wagatha Christie we have to pay Rebekah Vardy a pound." Lorraine laughed as Rishi added: "I don't know the going rate actually." She continued: "So we'll have to call it something else, what can we call it?" Rishi quipped: "We can abbreviate it to WC."

Last year, Rebekah trademarked the name Wagatha Christie after losing her libel action against Coleen. In documents obtained by the Mirror at the time, her trademark covers everything from clothing, non-alcoholic beverages, broadcasting, education and beauty. Should it be used by others, Rebekah will need to approve it and can also receive a fee for usage.

When asked by the Mirror what she thinks about the name and the possibility of being remembered in a different light, perhaps as Queen of the Jungle, Coleen said: "I think I’d rather just be known as Coleen from Liverpool. Not from any other type of place. It's just me, as I always have been, so hopefully people just think she's that Scouser that she's always been."

However, Rebekah has wasted no time in offering her thoughts on Coleen's stint on the show. When she entered camp, Rebekah posted a snap of herself bathing in a pink bikini with here eyes closed. Appearing relaxed in the photo, Rebekah teased: "The feeling when you are living rent free in people's heads." She added a laugh-crying emoji and a winking emoji to her post.

A judge decided last month that Rebekah would be slapped with an extra £100,000 cost on top of the £1.8 million she’s already been told to pay Coleen after the infamous Wagatha Christie trial. Nicola McLean, who is friends with both of the women, thinks Rebekah would take every opportunity to watch Coleen and joyfully report on her failures in the show.

"I admire strong women and both of these girls are strong in different ways. Can't wait to see Coleen in the jungle and can't wait to see what Rebekah Vardy has got to say about it,” she said. Rebekah has already given a harsh judgement on another campmate as she accused BBC Radio 1 star Dean McCullough of siding with Coleen. “Dean, Dean and his cosying up to Coleen. It’s so very obvious and, believe me, it is going to get tiresome. He absolutely loves to talk about Wagatha and when he does he knows he’s going to get airtime from it,” Rebekah raged in The Sun.
