Madonna Shows Her Support for LA Residents in Heartfelt Note About Horrific Fire

Madonna has offered strength and shared words of encouragement as she wrote a moving note about the LA fire on Instagram. The ongoing wildfires have caused major destruction across Los Angeles County and forced several people out of their homes. Besides reducing landmark structures to rubble, the ravaging blazes have claimed the homes and livelihoods of many. Several celebrities have expressed their heartbreak for those affected by the firestorms. Madonna, too, penned a touching note amid the catastrophe.

Madonna offers strength and support in her touching Instagram note

On her Instagram Story, Madonna posted a moving note amid the battle against the destructive Los Angeles fire. The 66-year-old music artist heartfeltly wrote that LA has been her home “off and on for the last 40 years.” She continued, “Even though I don’t reside there any longer I have so many good memories in all the homes I have been privileged to live in.” Madonna pointed out the different aspects she adored in the city, which included “the sunshine,” “the lemon trees,” “the fragrance of Gardenia’s,” “the architecture,” and “the feeling of safety.” 

“I could go on and on,” the singer wrote. Madonna then confessed that if she lived there now, she could not “imagine the pain and devastation” of losing her home to LA fire and that “feeling of comfort and safety.” The record producer wrote, “My Heart and Prayers go out to all who have been displaced. Who have to start all over again.” 

Madonna further shared that she is “so proud” of those “who are doing what they can to help out.” This includes the people she knows as well as the ones she does not know. Madonna added, “It’s so nice to see people working together instead of working against each other.” Before ending the note, the singer also wrote, “God bless you all! City of Angels- Indeed.” 

Meanwhile, the horror continues in California as a new blaze broke out late Monday in Ventura County. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection has reported that the Auto Fire has burned 56 acres so far.
