Viewers of Married At First Sight UK got more than they bargained for in an emotional rollercoaster episode on Tuesday when Kristina Goodsell revealed her deepest feelings during the final commitment ceremony.
Kieran Chapman, a 28-year-old from Newcastle, seemed an ideal match for Kristina, a 31-year-old dog walker from East Sussex.
Initially a pillar of strength, their relationship hit the rocks as Kieran, stricken with indecision and haunted by memories of an ex, left his 'wife' feeling sidelined and wounded.

The tension hit fever pitch when he presented a list comparing Kristina and his ex-girlfriend during what was supposed to be a cosy double date—scarcely differing but for Kristina's outgoing nature—and it led to a storm-off from a crushed Kristina.
Fast-forward to recent episodes: Kieran chose solitude during friends and family week, questioning the future of their bond. Yet, the most gut-wrenching moment unfolded during the gripping final episode, with Kristina laying bare the toll of her battle with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) on her life and love.
With raw honesty that brought viewers to tears, Kristina laid out her heart: "I'm a lot, I know I am, I just want to be loved that's all it is." Her six-word plea resonated deeply: "I just want to be loved", reports the Mirror.
In a shocking twist on the show, Kieran and Kristina both chose to "leave" the relationship, despite Kristina's efforts to make it work. An emotional Kristina explained: "I have been so patient and so understanding and so respectful. The ball's been in his court for ages. So... I'm going to leave!" The news left their co-stars in tears, and expert Charlene Douglas was visibly moved, saying: "Wow, you've both written leave so of course this is the end of the experiment for the two of you."
Trying to hold back tears, she added: "I promised myself I wouldn't cry so I'm not going to!" Viewers took to Twitter to show their support for Kristina, with one person saying: "Omg I'm in bits. Love Kristina she's such a beautiful soul no agenda just wanted to find her future love and raised awareness of a condition I'd never heard about. I wish her the best life imaginable. Best person to ever enter #MAFSUK. Good luck Stina."
Others praised Kristina's kindness and beauty, with one saying: "Kristina will find her forever person. She is absolutely lovely. Beautiful inside and out. #MAFSUK", and another adding: "Kristina is literally the definition of beautiful inside and out. I'm rooting for her finding her forever person #MAFSUK".
