Man Posing As Sexyy Red’s Manager Charged With Sexual Assault

Vladimir Joseph, who was posing as Sexyy Red’s manager, has been arrested in Miami. The self-identified “promoter” was detained on Tuesday (Oct. 29) on charges of armed sexual battery and false imprisonment with a weapon.

According to WPLG Local 10 and local authorities, Joseph met a woman at a Sexyy Red event at Booby Trap on the River strip club back in May. He was driving a gray Lexus while claiming to be the rapper’s manager, “Alexander Beamer.”

The 41-year-old later forced the victim to take cocaine at gunpoint at his home. “Take it or I will kill you,” Joseph allegedly said. He proceeded to rape her for “several hours.”

The victim also claimed that Joseph filmed the assault on two cellphones. He reportedly “forced the victim to take a shower and continued sexually assaulting her again.”

Afterward, Joseph allegedly ordered a Lyft for the victim following the attack. Due to the ride share details, she was able to identify him —in a police lineup— and the location of the assault. A rape kit was collected and she did test positive for the aforementioned drugs.

Joseph turned himself in on Tuesday (Oct. 29). He is currently being held without bond at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.

A rep for Sexyy Red did confirm to WPLG that “Vladimir Joseph is not her manager.”

The rap phenom recently had to defend herself in a separate controversy where many assumed she was involved with the controversial OnlyFans creator, Gucci Third Leg. “Why every time y’all see me with a n***a, y’all think I’m f**king him? Like, can I just chill? Can I hang out? God, I’m a grown-a** gangster superhero. Leave me alone,” she tweeted, putting the fodder to rest.
