Mark Labbett's ex-wife has jaw-dropping transformation after weight loss and changing face

The Chase star Mark Labbett split from his ex-wife Katie back in 2020, but he has recently been seen out and about with her again - and fans are in disbelief over her new look

Mark Labbett's ex-wife looks completely unrecognisable and totally overhauled her look in recent months.

The Chase star, 59, split from his girlfriend Hayley Palmer five months ago, but he has been reuniting with his ex-wife, Katie, 31, who he is still legally married to. The former couple also share their son, Lawrence, together.

The quizzer recently took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and Katie on their wholesome family day out. While Mark looks slimmer than ever, it's clear that Katie has also gone through an incredible transformation of her own.

The blonde beauty appears to have dropped a number of dress sizes as she showed off her slimmed-down frame in a pair of leather pants and a tight burgundy turtleneck top. Katie's facial features also appear to have changed, as she now shows off a much more youthful look and fuller lips. The mum also have fuller and longer locks by the looks of things.

After reuniting with his ex-wife Katie, Mark's former flame Hayley, 42, is believed to now be livid with The Chase star after he seemingly rekindled his bond with his ex-wife. Given that Katie now looks very different, Hayley is reportedly extra cut up about the whole situation.

An insider told Mail Online: "Hayley saw the posts and it left her devastated. It was six months since they'd broken up and the posts went everywhere. It led to a lot of people reaching out and it really affected her mental health.

"She sent Mark a WhatsApp message, which he read but did not reply to. In it she said, 'Please be mindful of what you are posting on Instagram, as it has an impact on mental health trying to move forward, thank you.'"

TV presenter Hayley said that she was left devastated back in May when Mark ended their relationship over a three-minute phone call. It was here, he reportedly told Hayley that he didn't want to get a divorce from Katie - despite being split up since 2020.

Just days after his one-year anniversary with Hayley, Mark told her: "I don't think we should see each other anymore. You were right, I don't want to get a divorce [from Katie]."

Katie, who is Mark's second cousin, had an open marriage with The Chase star. They separated in 2020 after seven years together, with Mark blaming their age gap for the split. He pointed to the Covid-19 lockdown as the catalyst for them going separate ways and Mark says he left so that Katie could forge a relationship with her lover.

Meanwhile, Katie, who works as a nurse, blamed the split on Mark's workload with The Chase, among other things. They first met in 2010 after making a connection on Facebook.

Katie admitted that she had not heard of Mark when she first started dating him. She said about that time: "I had never heard of Mark, or watched The Chase, but my gran mentioned him so I was intrigued.” They began their relationship properly in 2012 and were engaged the following October.
