A former Married at First Sight bride shared a video of herself in a hospital bed recently and issued a warning to her fans, saying that she had not expected to end up there

A former Married at First Sight bride has shared a video of herself in a hospital bed and issued a warning to her fans.

Lara Eyre, 52 - who was on the UK version of the show in 2022 - posted the footage on Instagram on Friday morning. She was seen sporting a black beanie hat and a matching jumper in the video shared with her followers.

The reality TV star - who is understood to have asthma - appeared breathless at points in the video. She revealed to viewers that she had ended up in hospital after going out for a prescription. Lara said in the post that as a result she was unprepared and didn't have certain "essentials and creature comforts" with her.

She told fans: "So, if you have asthma and you feel at all unwell, top tip - pack a 'go bag'. Leave it in your hallway [or] leave it in your car, so you don't end up in a hospital without anything that you need. No makeup, no wipes, no socks, no toothbrush. Like nothing.

Lara added: "I've come with nothing and so I'm gonna write a list down below of all the things I wish I had with me whilst I'm here. Cause you don't think about it ... like, I was only going for a prescription and I ended up in the hospital. So, I think that would have made a difference so follow [my advice]."

She wrote in the caption: "Ending up in hospital is scary, stressful and strange but having some of your essentials and creature comforts can lessen the anxiety. Pack a GO bag so you are ready just in case. A few things I wish I had clean knickers lol, hair brush fuzzy socks, makeup wipes, baby wipes, toothbrush, book, charger , PJs, eye mask, ear plugs and the list goes on and leave the bag where a friend can easily find ot so you don't have to stress explaining or asking them to pack for you when your not well so my little asthma sufferes be prepared and enjoy winter!!! #prepared #asthma #lessstress #hospital."

Lara - who parted ways with groom Richie Dews whilst on the E4 series two years ago - was met with well wishes in the comments section. One fan reacted: "Hope you're feeling better soon." Another follower said: "Get well soon."

Among those who responded was Lucinda Light, who appeared on the latest series of Married at First Sight Australia, which aired earlier this year. Lucinda wrote in the comments section: "Sending you love and healing gorgeous."
