If you’re anything like us, your Wednesday nights have been composed lately of watching Joan Vassos find love in The Golden Bachelorette. But as Vassos gets closer to finding “The One,” there’s one A-lister who’s not totally on board with the show.
In a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Martha Stewart said she would say “no” to being on the show herself. “Absolutely not,” she said to host Andy Cohen. After some prying, Stewart then revealed the real reason why. “The guys aren’t hot enough,” she said.

“It ain’t about money, it’s about how hot the guys are,” Stewart’s close friend Snoop Dogg added.
Shortly after that headline-making confession, Vassos spoke out and defended the contestants of her season.
“I DM’d her last night. I don’t know if she’s read it yet but I did,” Joan told Access Hollywood. “I said, ‘Dating is hard out there and I had a great group of guys.’ She doesn’t know ‘em like I know ‘em. I got to know the inside of them as well as the outside, and both are wonderful.”
“The team did a great job of picking them,” Vassos continued. “What they’re about and their backstories, they’re all so wonderful. They are there for a reason. When they got out of the limos that first night, every single one of them did something memorable and made me want to get to know them more.”

“I guess Martha Stewart didn’t watch or didn’t see what I saw in them,” Vassos continued, questioning Stewart. “Maybe you have to be in person? They are special guys. I feel like everyone’s falling in love with them. I’m like, ‘What’s wrong with you, Martha?’” Love her standing up for her men!
Speaking of her journey to find love, tonight’s episode will see the hometown dates of her top four contestants: Pascal Ibgui, a 69-year-old French salon owner from Chicago, Chock Chapple, a 60-year-old insurance executive from Wichita, Guy Gansert, a 66-year-old ER doctor from Reno, and Jordan Heller, 61-year-old sales manager from Chicago. We can’t wait!
