Maura Higgins' future career 'revealed' as star set to make millions after I'm A Celebrity

3 hours ago 3

It's good news for Maura Higgins as the Longford star is predicted to make a whopping £3.2 million and could land more TV jobs off the back of her stint in the I'm A Celebrity jungle.

The fiery Love Island star has been entertaining audiences on the hit ITV show ever since her bombshell entrance with Reverend Richard Coles last week.

Maura has been inundated with lucrative social media gigs since appearing on Love Island in 2019. She has also enjoyed success as a model and has dabbled in TV presenting on the US version of the show that catapulted her to fame.

Now, one PR expert reckons Maura's jungle stint could see her land more TV work and predicts she will be the biggest success story of the season.

Speaking to Stocklytics, PR expert Lynn Carratt explained: "Maura was a late entry to the jungle. She's a well known influencer She had made a name for herself on the Love Island in 2019. She's gone on to huge social media fame in terms of 3.8 million followers.

"She's a model, and works with a lot of fashion brands and beauty brands like Space NK. Her net worth is around £3.2 million. It's rumoured she's getting around £150,000 to £175,000 for her stint in the Jungle.

"Beyond the money, I think the actual reason Maura has gone into the jungle is because she wants to get into more presenting, more hosting. She's already had a stint at presenting Love Island After Sun in America and I think she'd like to do more of that both in the UK and in the USA."

Another fan favourite on this year's I'm A Celebrity is Coleen Rooney. The wife of footballing legend Wayne Rooney hit headlines in 2019 when she and Rebekah Vardy went head-to-head in "Wagatha Christie".

And while Coleen signed up to the show to do "something for herself", it is predicted she will still make good money off the back of it.

Lynn explained: "Coleen has a joint fortune with her husband of around £200 million, which obviously is quite a huge amount. She is the highest-paid celebrity in the jungle this year, getting paid around £2 million to take part in this year's show. She's not doing it to raise her profile, she's doing it to do something for herself.

"Now that her kids are older, she wants to get back out there and build her career up which many mums want to do and yes, she'll end up making more money off the back of the show with brand deals with family brands. It's likely she will make £5 million post-show. But she's doing it for self-preservation rather than monetary value because when you have £200 million, what's another 5 million?"

Northern Irish radio presenter Dean McCullough has caused a stir in the jungle this week, and Lynn expects a boost in his profile once he leaves.

She said: "Dean is the lowest paid camp mate on I'm a Celebrity. He is the least well-known. Currently, he presents the early morning breakfast show on radio one and going on an ITV prime time show will propel his career forward and raise his profile.

"I don't think he's going to be a big money maker for him in terms of brand deals. He might get a bigger contract because he'll be definitely earning less than six figures in his day job as a radio one DJ and his net worth is rumoured to be around £750,000 at the most. He could certainly get more hosting event jobs which could supplement his income by that, we're probably only looking at around £250,000 extra in the next 12 months."
