Maura Higgins had a huge smile on her face after it was confirmed she is dating Pete Wicks.
The Love Island icon, 34, appeared to declare her romance while at the Pride of Britain Awards last month. Maura and Pete, who have been rumoured to have been dating for months, were spotted sharing a kiss as they partied until 1am at London's Grosvenor Hotel. Their PDA came just hours after Pete insisted he was 'single'.
It appears Maura couldn't be happier as she was seen enjoying another kiss with Pete following rumours she is starring in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. She starred on Love Island back in 2018, where she was joined with pals Molly Mae and Tommy Fury.
Following rumours Tommy has withdrawn from I'm A Celeb and accepted a place on Big Brother, it's been reported that Maura has been lined up to replace him. In photos shared with the Sun, Maura could be seen with a huge smile as she snuggled into Pete while at east London hotspot Gloria.
Although Pete and Maura have kept quiet about their undeniable chemistry, guests at the Pride of Britain Awards were left with no doubt as to their feelings for each other. Maura was seen planting a tender kiss on Pete's nose, followed by a kiss on the lips. Speaking exclusively to the Mirror, an attendee revealed how they'd overheard Pete chatting about his single life at the event's afterparty, despite the affectionate display.

The former TOWIE star has found himself at the centre of 'showmance' rumours as part of his current stint on Strictly Come Dancing. He is paired with professional dancer Jowita Przystał and they have both been playing up to romance speculation. Fans suspected something was going on as they performed passionate dances and gushed over each other off stage.
However, Jowita has confirmed they are nothing more than friends. Speaking to OK! magazine at the Pride of Britain Awards, she said: "We have very good chemistry together as friends, we really get on well with each other, and we have so much fun together. And dancing is a bit like acting, so we're telling a story every night on Saturday night, and I think we're doing a pretty good job with that so..."
Jowita, while discussing the pairing, admitted: "But we're very good friends, and I love him so much as a brother, and I think we're going to stay friends for life, to be honest." Pete echoed Jowita when they made an appearance on This Morning together. Host Alison Hammond asked: "Do you even listen to the judges because I'd take it with a pinch of salt really, Craig, the way he cussed your Samba that was a bit out of order but do you actually listen to them or are you just in your own little world?"
Pete replied: "I'm just in my own little world, we're in a bit of a bubble when we dance!" to which Alison went straight in with the cheeky questions as she asked: "Is it a love bubble?" Pete insisted: "It's not a love bubble unfortunately... I mean you came in early, that was about 30 seconds before you went in with it!"
