Max had previously told fans he may need a pacemaker after he was rushed in last week when he was feeling unwell.

The Wanted singer then told he had to stay as he had cardiac issues.

In a new video posted in his medical gown at the hospital ward, he addressed his loyal followers.

In a caption posted alongside the scenes he said: "Thank you everyone for all your support this week.

"It’s mad what’s around the corner.

"But I genuinely feel very lucky that I will get a chance at living a normal life again after this surgery!

"Pacemaker surgery this week… The hospital staff have been nothing short of angels."

Yet there is happy news for The Wanted fans - after Max and bandmate Siva Kaneswaran cancelled two US reunion dates this year.

Addressing the group's upcoming tour, Max said: "Focusing on all things good. Gig on 27th Feb in Manchester means all the more now!

"Again, thank you and much love."

A second wrote: "All the love man," as a third put: "Hope it all goes well!!! Thinking of you, sending so much love, you got this!!!"

One then posted: "Max you will get through this rough times and definitely will be back on stage again….sending you all the love in the world…..take care and wish you a speedy recovery. love yaa."

HEALTH ISSUES

Max, who has ditched booze after previous liver problems, saw his heart rate dramatically drop last week.

He told how he will need to be fitted with a pacemaker device to help stabilise it.

The Gold Forever singer previously said of his diagnosis: “We have cancelled out a few things like alcohol for example. I have not had a drink for four and a half years, so it isn’t that.”

Max went sober after he was told by a doctor his liver count was low following years of boozing on tour.

Max’s shock hospital admission comes two years after his Wanted bandmate and best pal Tom Parker died of brain cancer aged just 33.

His partner Maisie Smith was seen putting on a brave face as she was spotted for the first time since the medical ordeal.

It will mean he will stay in hospital over the Christmas period.
