McAnally-Hilgemann Racing has confirmed the full-time return of Jack Wood as their truck series driver for the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season.
Wood, who will be piloting the No. 91 Chevrolet Silverado RST, is set for his next challenge under the guidance of crew chief Kevin Bellicourt. Sponsored by Adaptive One Calipers, the 24-year-old racer from Loomis, California, commented on the upcoming move:
"I'm definitely thankful and excited to be back at MHR next season," Wood said in a released statement.
"We had a lot of bright spots this past season and have a great foundation to build on. I have a lot of trust in Kevin [Bellicourt], [team owner] Bill [McAnally], and everyone at MHR, so that makes me excited for what's ahead of us next year. It's great to have Adaptive One Calipers board with us and looking forward to activating with their customers throughout the season."
The announcement marks another chapter in Wood's relationship with MHR, a team led by veteran owner Bill McAnally, renowned for its success in the West Coast racing scene.
McAnally, whose faith in Wood is unwavering, explained:
"We're glad to have Jack return next season and excited to see him build on the groundwork from 2024.
"The No. 91 team did a great job last season with multiple drivers and Jack managed the year well with splitting time between the truck program and the west series. It's tremendous to have continued support from everyone at Adaptive One Calipers and allowing Jack to focus on the entire truck schedule next year will pay dividends for the whole team."
Jack Wood began his racing career with the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East during 2019 and 2020, which later became part of the ARCA Menards Series West. These early years saw him driving for his family's Velocity Racing team, achieving eight top-10 finishes. His transition to the Truck Series began in 2021.
Having previously raced part-time for MHR, Wood returns with support from sponsors Adaptive One Calipers.
Wood is expected to uphold the team's competitive edge alongside teammates Tyler Ankrum, Daniel Hemric, and Connor Mosack.
