Pregnant Michelle Keegan advised her Mark Wright's ex Lauren Goodger to leave her now-husband, in a resurfaced column she wrote 13 years ago.

The Coronation Street actress, 37, announced this weekend that she is pregnant with former TOWIE star Mark, in a sweet joint Instagram post. The pair shared a photo showing Michelle looking stunning on the beach, in a white outfit, cradling her bump.

Michelle's long hair blows in the sea breeze, while Mark watches her with his back to the camera. But proud dad-to-be hasn't always been so wholesome, with the Essex-native's promiscuous youth televised on TOWIE for all to see.

Mark was on TOWIE from the start in 2010, making him an OG cast member, but his behaviour towards his girlfriend at the time left much to be desired. The playboy was filmed cheating on Lauren Goodger, who he got together with when they were just 15. They dated on and off for ten years, with the couple's drama-filled relationship never far from the next kick off.

One person who took umbrage with Mark's behaviour at the time was Michelle Keegan, who wrote about it in her newly-resurfaced Love It! column. Titled Tut, Tut, Mark, the paragraph re-emerged from the archives just hours after Michelle and Mark had announced their baby news.

Michelle, who was 24 at the time, commented on her future husband's relationship with Lauren Goodger after seeing it on TOWIE. Michelle wrote: "I love TOWIE! It's one of those shows you don't want to watch, but just can't help turning on. I don't know how Lauren can take Mark back so easily, though - it's so cringe! I wouldn't' be able to get back with someone who'd slept with lots of girls I knew, but that's just me."

The comments have come after speculation surrounding Mark and Lauren's relationship. The pair were together for a decade before they split for good, with Lauren since labelling Mark the love of her life. Speaking to Paul Brunson on the We Need To Talk podcast, she admitted: "I never ever thought I was going to love anyone else. I was with him for twelve years on and off…He was the love of my life. We wouldn't have stayed together for that long if he didn't have this mutual feeling for me.”

She shared: "We don't speak at all. We would never speak now because his life has progressed so much and I have to respect that and he respects his partner and his new life and whatever."

In an interview earlier this year with Closer, she said viewers would see a different side of her when she returned to the ITVBe reality show now she doesn't have to deal with a cheating fiancé. She said: "You’re seeing who I really am. I was 22 before. I was in a relationship – there were a lot of women having affairs with my fiancé. There was a lot of heartache and drama. Now I have no drama. I get on with everyone. I am more respected in the cast as well. I am the calm mother and big sister.”
