Lala Kent is a mom of two and she doesn’t mess around when it comes to her kids. She and Randall Emmett welcomed baby Ocean in 2021, and the reality star opted to expand her family again last year. Lala spoke publicly about how she wanted to raise her family as a single parent. She’s now a mom to two daughters, Ocean and Sosa.
The Vanderpump Rules star is one of many celebrities living near the areas of Los Angeles being affected by devastating fires this January. Lala Kent takes to Instagram to say that she’s leaving LA for Palm Springs “until it’s safe again,” and details how four-month-old Sosa was “struggling to breathe.”

Due to the raging fires in LA, the air quality has been affected and Lala says her baby was “struggling to breathe” amid the devastation.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories on January 9: “This morning Sosa woke up and was really struggling to breathe. I made the decision to ack my family up and come to Palm Springs, strictly based on the air quality. This is where we will stay until LA is safe again.”

She adds how her “heart is shattered” for the people affected by the fires, and explains how she “hasn’t been directly affected,” but is “sad and angry.”
Lala has a message for those affected
As Lala leaves LA for Palm Springs to ensure her children’s safety, she shares a message for those affected in another IG Story.
The reality TV alum writes: “For now, all I want to do is say thank you to our firefighters and first responders. Our cities heroes. And to everyone affected – I know you feel alone. You are not alone.”
Adding how the situations people are facing are “unimaginable,” Lala tells her followers how she’s trying to remain “grateful” at this time.
