MOLLY-MAE Hague has admitted regret over a controversial comment she made that saw her face huge backlash from fans.
The 25-year-old influencer and fashion brand owner came under fire after making what were deemed as ‘tone deaf’ comments on poverty on Steven's The Diary Of A CEO podcast.
Molly faced backlash from fans when she said in the 2021 clip: “You’re given one life and it’s down to you what you do with it. You can literally go in any direction.
"When I’ve spoken about that in the past I have been slammed a little bit, with people saying 'it’s easy for you to say that because you’ve not grown up in poverty, so for you to sit there and say we all have the same 24 hours in a day is not correct.'
"But, technically, what I’m saying is correct. We do," the TV personality continued."
Now, Molly has discussed the comments she made, saying she “meant no malice.”

“But you're not always going to get it right, living your life in the public eye.”
The star added: “People find me quite controversial.”
In her interview, she also opened up on what happened in the days after her break-up with Tommy Fury.
Molly, who called off her engagement to boxer Tommy in August after months of speculation, said her close circle of friends rallied around her following the split.

Molly was surrounded by her inner circle as she attempted to drown her sorrows with a glass of rosé.
But the influencer who has frequently said that she doesn't drink alcohol because she hates getting drunk, decided to put the booze down.
“It’s literally like four friends,” she said.
“That’s about it, really. It just works best that way, because then you know the people that are around you are genuinely there for the right reasons.”
