Motorola’s 2024 Razr series gets Circle to Search

4 weeks ago 8

Google’s Circle to Search has been an exciting feature that seemingly only lives on a handful of Android devices. Motorola’s newest Razr lineup is the most recent series to get Circle to Search in a new update.

Google’s Circle to Search has expanded to more devices recently, including ones from Xiaomi and Honor. That expansion marks a new wave, with more devices expected to get the feature. Motorola even announced that its devices would be getting Circle to Search with little detail to go on.

Today, it seems like that update is beginning to roll out to the Motorola Razr+ and Razr in the 2024 lineup (via AndroidCentral). It looks like Circle to Search is hidden inside a security update. The update only notes security and system improvements but doesn’t list Circle to Search as a feature of the update.

It looks like Circle to Search is only available for the 2024 version of Motorola’s Razr devices. That includes the Razr+ and Razr, which have proven to be some of our favorite phones of the year. With how well Motorola has done in terms of software development, the Razr and even the Edge series have been a great addition. This update also helps in terms of building Motorola’s reputation for Android support, though it’s only a small element.

The Circle to Search and security update should be available now or in the near future for the 2024 Razr series.
