Mr Tumble has faced a number of death hoaxes.
Tumble, real name Justin Fletcher, is the lead character on CBeebies' Something Special. The beloved children's TV character has been at the centre of an online prank, despite being alive and well.
In January 2024, the phrase "Mr Tumble Dead" began circling the internet. Worried fans of the kids' TV star rushed to social media to voice their concerns over Justin's death, only to be told that the whole thing was a cruel joke.
The same thing happened back in 2020 - one person tweeted: "Is Mr Tumble dead???" while another exclaimed: "IS MR TUMBLE DEAD!?"
"Nah mate ur not telling me Mr Tumble is dead, who would even start that rumour," asked another confused fan of the children's entertainer. "Is Mr Tumble dead or not bc i'm scared," wrote another concerned citizen.
Once the prank was cleared up, one X/Twitter user threatened "whoever started the lie that Mr Tumble is dead."
Another person confirmed to panicked fans: "I have since found out Snapchat and YouTube [accounts] were spreading rumours. He looks to be alive [laughing emojis]."
A third person took to social media to write: "Silly rumour. No info about this anywhere." According to reports, Mr Tumble actor Justin Fletcher has been a victim of death hoaxes since around 2019.
The Mirror wrote: "In the past, Justin indirectly debunked rumours he had died as he continued to issue content and updates via social media in the wake of the rumours spreading."
"While nefarious websites nairaland.com, deaddeath.com and gumroad.com have routinely falsely reported the fake claims children's entertainer has passed away in the years since."
