Naked and Afraid star Sarah Danser has died aged just 34.

The star had been sitting as a passenger in a parked car when a man driving at speed ploughed into the vehicle in Kahala, Hawaii over the weekend. Jane's brother has paid tribute to her, branding her "magical." Sarah was rushed to hospital after sustaining serious injuries but tragically died on Tuesday.

According to local media, a man, 59, was travelling eastbound in Kahala when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with the parked car Sarah was in. According to police, while speed was a factor, there was no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

The driver of the car was hospitalised and sustained serious injuries, while a woman who was in the parked car with Sarah was rushed to hospital in a serious condition. Meanwhile a man who was in the parker car with Sarah refused treatment from medical staff. In a moving tribute, Sarah's brother, Jake Danser described her as "magical".

Speaking to KSLA, he said: "Magical is the way to describe her. Sarah had this positive energy about her that just really filled the environment she was in." Meanwhile, Sarah's dad, Dan, who arrived at the hospital just before Sarah's death, said: "I actually saw how much of a difference she made in the lives of others. I think she saved my life once, diving in Indonesia."

Sarah had survived breast cancer twice, according to her relatives. Having spent around 12 years in Hawaii, originally from Colorado, Sarah was not just known as a television personality but also known for her career as a master diver, boat captain, and self-proclaimed "pirate". Her most recent employment was with Island Divers Hawaii, who are now coordinating with her family to establish an ocean memorial in her honour
