Neighbours stars who have released music and swapped Ramsay Street for the stage

Christina and Caroline Alessi, identical twins who shot to fame on Australian soap Neighbours, are barely recognisable more than three decades following the show.

The Blakeney sisters, Gayle and Gillian, who portrayed the Alessi twins, have aged gracefully into their 58th year, looking vastly different from their Ramsay Street days, as we reported previously.

But it has left many fans of the iconic Aussie soap wondering where the rest of the cast have gone, with particular note of some stars who have gone on to take Hollywood and the stage by storm.

Whilst some have a string of awards under their belt, and have started families of their own, some of the cast have gone on to branch out into the music industry with some impressive hits and recognitions globally.
