Skims’ newest model is … the one and only Nia Long.
The 54-year-old actress is the latest to join a starry roster of A-listers who have appeared in this year’s buzzy campaigns, including Charli XCX, Sabrina Carpenter and Tate McRae.
For her shoot with esteemed photographer and longtime Skims collaborator Vanessa Beecroft, Long posed up a storm in the label’s inclusive assortment of tonal shapewear.
The screen icon, who is starring in next year’s Michael Jackson biopic “Michael,” wore various pieces from Skims’ Body, Seamless Sculpt and Hosiery collections, including the Core Sculpt Underwire Mid Thigh Bodysuit ($138), Bralette ($40) and Brief Bodysuit ($72).
“The beauty about being a woman is when you feel good, you look good,” Long said in a press release. “Whatever stage of your life, whatever age, whatever size, we have to love every inch and own every part of ourselves.”
“I’m truly honored to be a part of this campaign. Skims has redefined shapewear with pieces that not only look incredible but also give me the confidence and support I need to feel my best.”
The label’s co-founder, Kim Kardashian, also expressed her excitement about the casting coup.
“I have been in awe of Nia since the ’90s, so to have her star in our latest Skims shapewear campaign is truly iconic,” the reality television star shared in a statement.
Skims posted the campaign on Instagram, captioning the shots, “Nia Long for Skims. The actress is iconic as ever in the ultimate shapewear for New Year’s Eve dressing.”
And fans are fully on board with Kardashian’s latest campaign selection.
“Now this is marketing!!!! Skimberly got NIA !!!! 👏👏👏,” one person wrote. A second said, “always and will forever be that girl.”
Long herself commented, “Thank you @vbuntitled for these amazing images!!! 😍”
Long was one of many celebrity guests at Skim’s New York City flagship store opening on Dec. 12.
The mother of one documented the evening on her Instagram, sharing a photo alongside the guest of honor, who arrived on a scooter (but still wearing stilettos) after recently fracturing her foot.
“Boss babe @kimkardashian @skims ❤️ #skims #nyc 🔥,” Long captioned a pic of the pair.
At the star-studded event, the actress wore a fuzzy white jacket atop a form-fitting black bodysuit and leggings.
Long, who rose to fame in the ’90s, is set to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2025.
According to an interview with WWD, the actress plans to wear Skims’ shapewear for the milestone moment — and for the upcoming premiere of “Michael,” too.
“I will be wearing skims on that red carpet on October,” she confirmed.
Now that’s a true fan.
