Stars glammed up for one of fashion’s top events in London on Tuesday night but it was Nicole Kidman, 57, who stole the show.

The American-Australian star of films such as Moulin Rouge! And Eyes Wide Shut led the stars at GQ Men of the Year Awards, held in London.

Oscar-winner Kidman and fellow actors Jude Law and Baby Reindeer creator Richard Gadd were among those who took to the star-studded red carpet at the ceremony wearing designer clobber.

Kidman, who stars in the upcoming erotic thriller Babygirl, wore an eye-catching red turtleneck Balenciaga gown with silk corsetry and a matching court heel.

She co-hosted the awards alongside other GQ cover stars including British actor Law, rapper Central Cee, and footballers Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer.

Posing on the red carpet, Law was sporting a sky blue silk suit with a loose navy cravat and a pair of cream tassel loafers from “quiet luxury” label Brioni.

British musician Central Cee opted for a double denim look with metallic silver high tops.

Chelsea and England footballer Palmer donned a black Burberry tuxedo and leather buckled loafers, arriving with his influencer girlfriend Connie Grace, a nail technician with over 16,000 followers on Instagram.

It was the first time the pair had posed for pictures at a public appearance together.

Manchester United player Mainoo was sporting a head-to-toe Bottega Veneta leather ensemble paired with a white vest.

Other athletes at the event included retired Olympian Usain Bolt, who posed in a double-breasted mustard gold Bottega Veneta suit with a pared-back black shirt and black rimmed glasses.

Sex Education star Asa Butterfield and Lennon Gallagher, son of Oasis singer Liam Gallagher, looking just as moody as his Oasis singer dad, were also in attendance.

Former Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock was also at the event.

Chicken Shop Date star Amelia Dimoldenberg took on red carpet hosting duties, wearing an Alberta Ferretti black sequinned fluted gown.

Baby Reindeer star and creator Richard Gadd, 35, from Wormit, Fife, wore a charcoal double-breasted suit with a cropped jacket.

Gadd's appearance at the awards came in the same week that Fiona Harvey, who claims the stalker Martha in Baby Reindeer is based on her, revealed plans to sue Gadd if a £130 million lawsuit that US lawyers have filed on her behalf against Netflix for defamation is successful.

GQ has released a special December edition recognising those who are “breaking the rules, changing the game, and taking their slice of the culture to another level”.

The 27th annual ceremony, in partnership with Jo Malone London, took place at The Roof Gardens in west London.
