Nicole Scherzinger baffles fans as she leaves controversial message for Russell Brand

Nicole Scherzinger concerned fans when she left a comment on controversial comedian Russell Brand's social media post.

Disgraced star Russell has been accused of rape, assault and emotional abuse following a joint investigation by Channel 4 ’s Dispatches programme, The Times and Sunday Times last year. He has strongly denied all accusations about his behaviour which allegedly took place at the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013.

In recent weeks, he has been sharing posts showcasing his support for convicted felon and reality star Donald Trump, who was re-elected as President of the United States. Not only has he shared videos criticising Democrat Kamala Harris, he also shared a selfie holding up a 'Make America Great Again' style red hat.

However, instead of 'MAGA', the print on the front read: "Make Jesus First Again." His supporters took to the comment section to agree with his message. However, it was Nicole's presence in his comments that concerned her fans. She wrote: "Where do I get this hat!!!?" and added a prayer hands emoji and red heart emoji.

She commented on disgraced star Russell Brand's post

She didn't appear to like the post nor has she publicly endorsed a candidate. It seems the star deleted her photo, but fans were quicker and took to the comment section to tag her. One user wrote: "@nicolescherzinger it’s too late boo, we saw your comment," while another said: "@nicolescherzinger wtf girl, not it!"

One user took to her page to write on her newest post: "So so disappointed, Nicole," and another screenshotted her comment and shared it on X, formerly known as Twitter. They wrote: "Scherzinger in Brand’s comments is grim," with the post gaining over 2,000 likes since it was posted.

This week, the world was shocked when Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris by securing 277 electoral votes. Following his win, many celebrities took to social media to share their disappointment, with Christina Applegate telling people to unfollow her if they share Trump's beliefs.

Cardi B, who is one of many stars who endorsed Harris, said she 'hate y'all bad' as she posted a video of herself watching the election results. Jamie Lee Curtis told fans it would be a "return to a more restrictive, some feat draconian time". Birds of a Feather singer Billie Eilish called his win a "war on women" while Ariana Grande said she "is holding the hand of every person who is feeling the immeasurable heaviness of this outcome today.”
