Noel Gallagher has been hard at work, crafting what could be the future anthems for an Oasis comeback - with six potential new tunes already locked down. As the buzz around their reunion tour grows, the 57-year-old rock veteran is aiming to keep things smooth sailing between him and his brother Liam Gallagher.
An insider spilled the beans to The Sun on Sunday newspaper's Bizarre column, dropping hints about the possible collaboration: "Noel has been making new music for a few months and has around six tracks in the bag. " Avoiding any sibling showdowns in the studio, there's chatter that Liam might chime in with his vocals from afar, with the tipster revealing, "Now Liam could always add his vocals remotely, to avoid any bust-ups between the two siblings."
It seems peace is the priority as they gear up for their big return: "It’s of the utmost importance that they are as harmonious as possible ahead of their massive reunion. There is intense speculation in the record industry that Noel is to exploit the huge success of their reunion tour to finally invite Liam on his tunes."

But don't peg Oasis as just a throwback gig just yet; Noel's got visions of fresh hits, as the source put it: "Noel knows the reunion is about the hits but he doesn’t want them to be purely a nostalgia act. " With fingers crossed and tunes poised, if the brotherly bond holds, Oasis fans could be in for a treat: "He has the tunes ready to go and if things continue to work well with Liam then it could be amazing."
Oasis frontman Liam has been left seriously impressed with brother Noel's songwriting chops, admitting he was "blown away" by the new material for a potential Oasis album. Engaging with fans on social media platform X, when quizzed about Noel's new songs for Oasis, Liam simply responded: "Blown away."
Notorious for his frank exchanges on the platform, in September, Liam teased that new Oasis tracks had already been recorded, claiming the reunion was a done deal.
To another fan's inquiry, "Is it true that Oasis will have a new album? ? ? " Liam affirmed: "Yep it's already finished." He continued to fuel fans' excitement, rebuffing a query as to whether the record's release was uncertain by saying: "It's in the bag mate f*** the air.(sic)".
