Olly Murs has revealed how his wife changes his life while he was dealing with a devastating rift from his twin brother. The 40-year-old singer, who's not spoken with his twin brother Ben since 2009, recalled how everything changed when he met bodybuilder Amelia.

After being single for three years, Olly encountered Amelia on Instagram before their paths crossed in a gym – and sparks flew.

Speaking to The Times, the former X-Factor star gushed over the moment that flipped his world upside down, admitting: "I always thought that spark when you fall in love was a load of Disney rubbish. People would talk about that moment and you’d go, ‘Really?’

"And when it does happen, it’s not like it is in films, of course. When that person walks into your life and changes how you feel, you know. She’s gorgeous, the love of my life."

Delving into the personal woes with his brother Ben, Olly revealed how the separation made him crave human connection, confessing: "I was desperate to be around people, could not sit in a room alone."

This seclusion, however, led him to a profound self-discovery: "When I was single for three years, I had to learn to like my own company. That’s when I met Amelia."

Now, after nearly two years of marriage, the couple are celebrating a new chapter with the arrival of their first child, Madison, born in April 2024.

The Sun has revealed that Olly was taken aback by fatherhood, confessing: "There will be things she’ll go through that I never went through. Even now, thinking about navigating her future is scary."

Recalling the momentous occasion on Instagram, he gushed: "2024 will forever be the year I became a dad to our Madison! ! A job that I’m trying my best at, it’s hard at times but that smile, your laughs and especially them cheeky little dimples melt us everyday x x can’t wait for more of the same in 2025."

Fans have rallied around him with messages of support, with one fan saying he's "absolutely smashing it" and another urging him to savour "every moment".
